Dialysis unit was established in December 2014 with a bed capacity of 5 machines.  Our kidney dialysis centre is fully and adequately equipped with the latest state –of- the –art haemodialysis machines and water treatment plants. This is to ensure quality care in line with global standards.The pioneer patients came from KNH where they were undergoing dialysis. Currently the unit serves 18 patients per day.in August 2020, the National Government in collaboration with the County Government brought 5 more machines hence making a total of 10 machines. The unit has an isolated machine for infectious diseases. It has attracted referrals from wider Meru and neighboring counties. The unit is run and manned  by  a team of specialized personnel.
