Casualty, Accident & Emergency Services
Casualty Accident & Emergency Centre provides services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It serves as an A&E Department, Out-Patient Department and as entry point for all the admission cases.A well laid out emergency preparedness plan coupled with well-equipped staff has made the Centre a one-stop Centre able to handle mass accidents, acute cardio-respiratory problems, advanced trauma, disaster management, poisons, and cases like malaria, pneumonia, typhoid fever, non-communicable and communicable diseases, and many others.
The A&E Department comprises of motivated team of doctors, nurses, technicians and other para health professionals well skilled in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and trauma life support for adults, children and babies. Doctors and nurses undergo regular training to ensure their skills and knowledge is up to date.
The hospital’s A&E Department also consists of Resuscitation Room, Dressing Room, Plaster Room, Examination Room and Observation Pharmacy
The hospital runs a 24-hour Pharmacy which has over 4000 different drugs and surgical items. we stock quality branded and generic medicine, pharmaceuticals and surgical products. The pharmacy employs dedicated qualified pharmacists and pharmaceutical technologists, and serves both inpatient and outpatient clients.
In addition to high-quality service for individual prescription needs, Hospital Pharmacy Team has expertise in a variety of specialty areas including: Diabetes, HIV, Pain Management, among others. We offer a complete inventory of standard, specialty, and over-the-counter medications. For your convenience, medications can be ready upon discharge or following an outpatient visit.
