APPLICATION FOR RESIDENCY PROGRAM IGENERAL SURGERY FOR JANUARY 2027(2 POST)
Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital (MeTRH) is a level V hospital serving as a tertiary facility for Meru County and its surrounding counties. The hospital has been accredited by College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA) and the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB)to train residents in a five- year fellowship program leading to fellowship in general surgery FCS (ECSA). We are inviting applications for entry into the MCS program in January 2027 at the MeTRH Site.
Applications are invited for qualified candidates for the above-mentioned course. This is a 5year training program divided into two years for (MCS)and three years for (FCS)fellowship training.
Requirements

- Must be holder of MBChB or equivalent from recognized university
- Must be registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board
- Must have worked in a busy Hospital for at least one year after internship.
- Must have 2 letters of recommendation: (One from senior Colleague and One from the supervisor)
