A 50-bed facility with anatomic pathology and medical imaging capacity, offering chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery as treatment options. Registered with Kenya's PPP Directorate.

Additional inpatient capacity as MeTRH's daily inpatient load regularly exceeds current bed capacity.

Teaching & research
A teaching hospital, not just a treating one
MeTRH is the teaching hospital for three institutions and an internship centre for Ministry of Health interns, clinical officers, nurses, and nutritionists — with research activity conducted on-site, including published studies on antimicrobial resistance.
